In this post, I will like to introduce you to the Circuito del Mediterraneo SUP RACE 2018.

What is the Circuito del Mediterraneo?

The 'Circuito del Mediterraneo SUP Race (CMS)', is actually the best sup race circuit in Spain. There is a total of 13 races around all the Mediterranean sea and one of two f them they're celebrated in two of the most important rivers in Spain, El Tajo in Madrid and El Guadalquivir in Sevilla.

Why is the 'Circuito del Mediterraneo' the best circuit in Spain?
In this circuit, we have more riders than in the others circuits of Spain. Also, we are lucky to have a great level because some of the top riders of Spain are from the Mediterranean.

Can anyone participate in this Circuit?

Yes, of course, there are many categories to compete since the little children to the Elite. You also con race in the Amateur category.

Where is the next race? and how can I sing up?

Next race will be in Valencia on the 20th of May. You can sing up in the Facebook Page: Circuito del Mediterraneo SUP Race.

Hello everyone, today I sill l like to introduce you to the Sup race world. What’s the Upwind? Upwind is when you are paddling against the wind and it’s the hardest way to paddle. Now I would like to give you some tips about how to paddle Upwind and continue going faster.. 1st TIP: Paddle  with good rhythm... The longer the paddle is out of the water, the less we will advance, so we have to try to keep the pace. Better to give shorter paddles but with a higher rhythm. If we make slow movements the wind will slow down the advance. So the first advice is short, fast and constant paddling. 2nd TIP: Go facing the wind and  paddle straight. As soon as we turn a little and we put aside the wind exerts force on us and on the side of the table so it makes us turn automatically, so we must make an extra effort to redirect the table where we want. 3rd TIP: Advance the position of the body in the table. Super core session!

CORE TIME !! In the following post we present a table of exercises dedicated specifically for the core. Everyone thinks that the core is only doing crunches, but the core is the entire middle part of the body and is made up of many muscles, not just the rectus abdominus, the muscles that form the core are the following: ABDOMEN (rectus abdominis, external obliques, internal obliques, abdominal transverse); LOW BACK (multifidus muscle, erector muscle of the spine, latissimus dorsi); HIP (gluteus, iliopsoas). EXPERIENCES

Hi all! How you doing? I am now in the blog to talk about last experience I had in the amazing world of SUP. We said in past posts that in Alicante there is no good weather to enjoy some modalities of SUP like surfing waves because of here, usually there is not enough wind to practice this modality. BUT, last 3, 4 days, we were the lucky ones. Here, in Alicante was good weather that caused I could introduce me to the water to enjoy the waves for my first time. It was amazing, It was incredible feelings out there. It was a cold and windy day, early in the morning and I was sleepy and angry because I love to sleep but at the same time, I felt nervous and impatient to be in the water. The morning went fine and to be my first time surfing with a SUP, I did not do it wrong. I am sure this day was the first time but not the last time, and for this week will be windy too, maybe, it is time to improve my skills...I will tell you in my next post! Carlos.
